Because of bad weather forecast the continue of the international austrian hang gliding championship on friday 6th july was cancelled.

Thank you to all our pilots from eleven different nations for being part of our competition, despite the bad weatherforecasts,
to every single one of our voluntary helpers, to all the patient families of both, the pilots and organizers, and to all our sponsors
for a successful Austrian-Open 2012 on the Emberger Alm.
Eventhough the weather made it impossible to complete a second task it was felicitous event for us and we hope to see you all again soon.

Overall results of the Austrian-Open 2012
Considering the bad weather and the early leaving of some, still quite a few pilots made it to the finale price-giving of the Austrian-Open 2012.
Eventhough the weather at the Startingplace was everything else but perfect, at the grillparty it was unexpectedly good. Live-band and hog roast turned the evening (and the night) even better!
